Tigers Celebrate Success with Charlotte’s Web Novel Study!

Tigers are Readers! Students at St. Andrew Academy have been busy building their reading comprehension skills through an exciting novel study of Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White.

We are proud to announce that every student in Ms. Aguirre's 3rd grade class successfully completed the novel study and passed the AR test! Even more impressive, three students earned perfect scores!

Students demonstrated their dedication to reading by using their lunch breaks to complete the activities. The students strengthened their reading and writing skills by incorporating Unit 2 standards from Benchmark Advance, “How Characters Shape Stories,” into their morning journal writing. These activities encouraged students to explore character development, analyze story events, and make meaningful connections to the text.

We are incredibly proud of our Tigers for their hard work, determination, and commitment to becoming stronger readers and writers!
